Hackberry General Store
I have shown this place before but this time when we went by I saw the honey of a Corvette parked there and had to get a quick snapshot as we drove by.

Here is another view of the school that I posted yesterday. It has an interesting and controversial history which you can read about in the link in yesterday's post.

Standing On The Corner In Winslow Arizona
This corner in Winslow, Arizona on Route 66 is set up to commemorate the song from the 1970's, by the Eagles, "Take It Easy", in which Winslow is mentioned. It's a pretty popular place with lots of people taking pictures. The whole scene on the wall is a painted mural. I think the addition of the flatbed Ford parked on the street is great, as is the bronze statue.

Church
A couple weeks ago while on a road trip we drove through Winslow, Arizona on Route 66. The day was beautiful with puffy white clouds on a gorgeous blue sky. This is St. Josephs church built in 1921.
