Fire On Granite Mountain

We have a wildfire burning in Prescott. This was taken from the airport through smoke that was lit from behind by the sun.

One of the fire fighting planes was taking off from the airport and flying into the smoke. As of last night, 5000 acres have burned. Homes are being evacuated.

The sun through the smoke was just a red ball in the sky. This picture is exactly what it looked like.

These are fantastic pictures. I hope this isn't anywhere near your house. Wild fires are very scary.

Wild fires are a summer occurance and are quite scary especially if your home is in the path. Photos are really amazing.

Eerie pictures. Hope the fire stays away from homes and ranches.

OMG! I hate fire! This is just fearsome! You got some great shots, but I really hope that you and your property are not in any danger. The red ball sun is magnificent!

Heard on local news that this year is the worst fire season ever. What terrible fury. You took some terrific shots tho.
