Driving To Alaska....Whitehorse, Yukon

On our second day in Whitehorse we took a long hike along the Yukon River in Miles Canyon. The river was busy with boats large and small and a few planes.

And then there was the hike in the woods just before leaving Whitehorse that ended in what my hubby told me was a sprained ankle. It looked a bit more serious than that to me but it was his foot, so we left Whitehorse heading for Alaska.

That's some gorgeous scenery. The first shot reminds me a lot of Minnesota. That foot does not look good - I'll bet there's more to this story!

Oh my, that really does look nasty! The foot, not the river. Beautiful cruise going on!

Men seem to be stubborn or too cavalier about their health issues. The scenery is awesome.

We were away for a week so I am just catching up with your posts now. That is a mean looking sprained ankle.
