Mistletoe is the common name for the Obligate Hemiparasitic plants which attach themselves to a tree or shrub and feed off of the host plant. If it gets big enough it can kill the tree. Therefore mistletoe is a parasitic plant.
This bunch of mistletoe is growing in a small tree at Lynx Lake. The tree doesn't look like it's doing well.
