Crown King Saloon

We had a fun day trip with very good friends on Monday to Crown King. In this photo my husband Chet and friend Dennis are hanging out in front of the Saloon while the wives, Twyla and myself, snap pictures.

Funny pic. Shore do look like a couple of old-timers jest havin' a good ol' time.

In the good ol' days, the men would be in the saloon drinkin' some good ol' whiskey and the wimmen would be home cookin' and cleanin'. Less they was Annie Oakley! :)

Nice way to hang out and I like the effect of the # in size of the two "means of transport!"

What would the Wild West be without saloons? I think I must have watched too many westerns on TV when I was a kid because I cannot think of saloons without also thinking brawls and gunfights. :)

I love the word "saloon" and use it whenever I can when visiting small towns. Your guys certainly are patient!

Never been to Crown King, this looks like a fun Saloon to pause for a cold one.

Not sure if this is the same one but I took my dad up to Crown King once decades ago and we stopped in a salooon. We were both put off by the big handgun laying on the back bar.

Love the very patriotic banners on the balcony.
