My favorite building in Jerome.
I saw pictures of this place on Tombo's Blog back in February of 2008, so when I saw what the theme was for October, I decided to find it myself. The entrance was kind of scary looking and I knew the graffiti was far back in the drainage tunnel under the street and I wasn't sure if I wanted to go in there but I noticed a Sheriff's deputy in a parking lot and went over and asked him if he thought it would be safe for me to go in there for some pictures. He decided to go with me and I was glad that he did. Thank you Deputy Anderson and thank you Tom for finding it first and giving a clue as to where it is.
We brought this little boy home on August first. We found him with a rescue group in Phoenix. He had a rough start in life but he is now in his forever home and is a very happy little nine month old. He is keeping us busy and entertained. There are many wonderful shelters and rescue groups with pets that need a second chance. This little guy makes us laugh every day.
One year ago today, a handfull of bloggers met up at a park in Prescott for a pleasant gab session. This is a picture that I took at the Park that day. The meet up was arranged, as usual by Granny J (Julie) of Walking Prescott. It was the last time we had a gathering. Julie's 'dotter', OmegaMom and 'granddotter' were visiting from Alaska and we all had a nice time talking and laughing. Sadly, while my husband and I were away in May, Julie passed away. Julie is the lady with the white hair at the far table in this picture. We will miss her and her blog.
